secularfuture Posted November 12, 2009 (edited) Buddhists have lovely sites like these: http://www.audiodharma.org http://www.bhavanasociety.org/list/category/MP3s/ http://www.bodhimonastery.net/bm/about-buddhism/audio.html  Where can the Taoist mp3s, lectures, and podcasts be found? doc benway Posted November 12, 2009 I'm not aware of too many but then again I haven't looked very hard. Alan Watts has a number of mp3's and podcasts. Most of his talks cross a variety of traditions but certainly express Daoist sensibilities as do Anthony Demello's (also easy to find on youtube). Â Here is a brief Watts excerpt that I love with visuals by those wacky South Park guys.... I've posted this before but never get tired of it. DalTheJigsaw123 Posted November 12, 2009 What about Youtube?
secularfuture Posted November 13, 2009 What about Youtube? Youtube is great, but it's kind of hard to find Taoist videos that aren't about healing and sex. I guess these are the 2 things Westerners care most about Taoist practice. I'll try to dig through the results and post the best clips here.

secularfuture Posted November 14, 2009 (edited) dissatisfaction Kind of. Â I just find it odd that with all the great teachings and techniques that can be found in Taoism, the ones that are highlighted the most in the west all have to deal with healing, sex, diet, and astrology. Trying to find useful information on spiritual enlightenment has been a bit of a chore. Maybe I need to learn Chinese? Â Nice site. I really like the artwork on the author's homepage: http://www.dengmingdao.com/ I haven't seen this link before. Thanks for pointing it out. Deng Ming-dao is the Thich Nhat Hanh of Taoism.
