I Had An Experience Today. I Will Never Forget It!

Recommended Posts

As the youtube comment says -- "orgasmic" -- I did the track in full-lotus while reading the latest ayahuasca interview on http://realitysandwich.com

The OBE is described by Robert Monroe as starting with "rolling out of the stomach" -- which is another way of stating sublimating and ionizing the lower body life force energy. The fast rhythm of the music "empties out" the conceptual level of thinking -- so that the right brain becomes dominant. You can think but without any other conceptual voices competing. It's similar to the "auditory hallucination" effect in the shower -- white noise creates "hallucinations" -- or subconscious visionary experiences if you will. You go into a dream state and leave your body so to speak.

Probably was more like an "astral tube" experience than real astral travel which is actually a very advanced practice. The "astral tube" is third eye energy though. Thanks for sharing.

The artist is: Vibrasphere Name of the Song: Baltic Resonance (Solar Fields Rmx)

shaktipat

In what way does shakti correlate to Daoist concepts of transmitted energy?

Thoughts?

I too have had similar experiences while listening to certain ambient music.

It is interesting how music can do that to certain people. (To become One with the music.)

Peace & Love!

Wow, that is really fascinating! Thank you so much for sharing. I cannot do half or full lotus position just yet. So I have been doing Yoga to stretch my limbs, so one day I will be able to do it. For now I'm focusing on Standing Meditation (Any thoughts here?) And cross legged meditation...(Focus on breathing first) (Then I will be focusing on mindlessness) Thoughts?

Yea, it's so amazing, never thought it was that powerful. I used to listen to a lot of hip-hop and I know why I was in one particular mode, with music like this, it seems that my consciousness is speeding up.

I have a whole blog and blogbook devoted to music philosophy and trance healing

http://naturalresonancerevolution.blogspot.com

Here's a recent post I made to http://realitysandwich.com on this subject

Steven Taylor this is a great blog post. Back in 1990 I read Jacque Attali and John Chernoff a few years later. Then in 1999 I discovered in my masters thesis, "Epicenters of Justice" that Taoist yang is the Pythagorean Perfect 5th music interval 2:3 and Taoist yin is the Perfect 4th music interval 3:4. Taylor -- you say that the reality shift is through the African repetition. I have a whole blog on this concept called http://naturalresonancerevolution.blogspot.com

There is a very very deep breakthrough based on music philosophy which is very simple yet very radical. I first heard "Meet the Beatles" as the first record I ever played. The first record I bought was Sargent Peppers which I completely memorized. I also memorized Bach's Concerto in F Major for my senior piano concert and I wrote a paper on the fugue in my first year of college. My piano teacher told me that professionals state the songs of the Beatles have the same form as the best classical music.

I've read Steven Feld -- and the bird connection has a deeper meaning. Here's the deal Taylor -- in the book "Magic of the Senses" by Drosch it states humans can hear ultrasound but only within their heads. An internal sound. Bird song also creates ultrasound which then expands plant stomata so the morning dew provides nutrients. The bird songs enable plants to grow! Dan Carlson's http://originalsonicbloom.com/ is a company based on this concept.

For humans listening to sound as resonance creates ultrasound which ionizes the serotonin in our stomachs, enabling the serotonin to then bypass the blood brain barrier through the autonomic parasympathetic vagus nerve. This trance dance listening creates the N/um (boiling heat of the stomach) of the Bushmen healing -- the original human music culture with no warfare. 90% of human history was the Bushmen culture and it's completely based on music trance dance healing with the same results as qigong or yoga. I studied with qigong master Chunyi Lin http://springforestqigong.com -- again the secret is nonwestern music harmonics. I give plenty of details in my blogbook "deep disharmony" posted on my blog.

The 12 notes of the music scale built from the perfect 5th/perfect 4th do not line up with a closed axiomatic logic. The original natural ratios were then compromised for Western math and logic. In nonwestern music the added noise or timbre, etc. that you mention -- this is actually part of the natural resonance into ultrasound. The complementary opposites of nonwestern tuning is the blues music as the basis for rock -- the bent notes -- but it's also the syncopated timing. In yoga and qigong there is a practice called the small universe or microcosmic orbit -- it's the 12 music notes as the 12 energy centers along the outside of the body. You listen to OM as each point -- playing the music scale of the body. The sound then ionizes into electromagnetic bliss and finally into light that opens the third eye. The small universe c.d. is the foundation for alchemy training -- and it's the same in Yogananda's lineage as well. You can find this on the http://springforestqigong.com website.

Wow! I'm going to re-read that a few times. Amazing stuff!:) Thank you so much... I wanted to learn more about how music is able to do and that. Seems like this is a good start. What is a name for studying this kind of stuff?

Sounds like an adrenalin rush to me ... I could be wrong but ...

It doesn't mean though that you didn't have an experience, cuz you did. I've been doing this for a while and trust me when I tell you that it's nothing out of this world. Out of this world is when your body is invaded by a spirit or something of that sort. Then that, is SuPeR NaTuRaL and it's also something you don't really question ... or brag about ...

Later,

Janell

Interesting you bring that up. I had many experiences of dark, shadow people/spirits going through me and the like, but I do not think this is the right forum to talk about it. It's very negative and dark. I was so depressed that I contemplated suicide on multiple occassions. This is why I started following the Tao!;)

Hmmm. Interesting. Dark spirits? But they are you my friend. They are how you see yourself. If you see yourself as something to be afraid of, then you will be something to be afraid of, get it?

It's about shadows, darkness and doubt. There is no light in the shadows, so you need to lighten up :)

What do you have doubts about? God? Existence? Your self, maybe?

Suicide is NOT the answer :) You would miss being alive and possibly being an immortal! :)

That is quite true! Never thought of it like that!:) Just everything I suppose. I'm much better now. With meditation/yoga and the like, it has gotten much better. Thank you!:)

Getting back to music (and kicking out the darkness - Hehehe).

Music has always been a part of my life. I have found that music effect my mood (state of mind).

I can now induce whatever mood I want simply by selecting a particular style of music to listen to. (There are some styles that drive me up the wall so I naturally avoid those.)

Now that is wierd!!! I have been listening to Ozark Mountain Daredevils and their music suddenly got dark. I had to stop it because it was not in harmony with my present mood. Switched to Gene Vincent - happy time Rockabilly music.

Peace & Love!

Glad I could help Leon but I don't think I told you anything you didn't already know.

So. Music. I love music! Beethoven is my favorite! And then when I want to get my spirit up, I listen to some Falling I wake or Pearl Jam. And then when I'm mellow I like to listen to some Natives, Peter Kater or something of that nature. It all depends on what I'm trying to accomplish. They are all angels, in my eyes :)

Thank you so much! Amazing stuff:)

I like most of astral projection,

many psychedelic progressive trance is good too.

I like many fullon although there is many commercial/uninspired fullon.

There are some good fullon mixes free for download at http://www.dacru.be/

I like many oldskool goatrance,

but not if it's got too much happening at the same time.

I don't like the newskool goatrance like suntrip records,

these have "too much" happening.

Good stuff to check out:

all etnica, all distance to goa, all destionation goa, all goahead

Atmos, cosma, cosmosis, logic bomb, transient, etc.

I'd recommend not to get too caught up in music though,

it's just another distraction/addiction ;)

Where there is music and good food,

people will stop to enjoy it.

But words spoken of the Tao

seem to them boring and stale.

When looked at, there is nothing for them to see.

When listened for, there is nothing for them to hear.

Yet if they put it to use, it would never be exhausted.
