She is far from being the typical compassionate Buddhist as she experienced Buddhism from the hard yards: she works (amongst other projects) as a counsellor of American prison inmates, some of them on the Death Row.

 

Sometimes she returns to Australia and offers free counselling to people in a Tibetan Buddhist centre located in Queensland.

she's giving some quite good explanations,

but she's very arrogant at times... for example when the girl at the 53.00' mark asks her a question,

the nun doesn't let the girl ask 2 words without interrupting.
