dwai Posted March 28, 2010 Hi All, For some unknown reason I just feel like saying this: I like Dwai's understanding of Buddhism. No, I am not going to become a Buddhist - I will remain a Taoist. Peace & Love! Finally! I must admit I am not going to become a "Buddhist" either...I will simply be...
Lucky7Strikes Posted March 28, 2010 Let's examine this a bit. The vision of colours, shapes, (not that they are in any way inherent) cannot be denied. For example if we hear a sound, and then perceive it as an object out there separate from us as a separate observer, the sound being an... Namaste. _/\_ As for the experience of the unity of luminosity and insight, perhaps it is better left untouched by words. ralis Posted March 28, 2010 I just copied and pasted a quote of Thusness Xabir posted earlier because I thought it was a good reply to TzuJanLi's emphasis on stillness/non-conceptual thought. Please read and consider everything before replying. I have read all of your previous posts. 1. Are you writing from an editorial perspective? 2. Who is your audience? 3. Does what you write apply universally for everyone? 4. Are you proselytizing? 5. Is the experience of pure consciousness the same for everyone? ralis

Is the experience of pure consciousness the same for everyone? ralis You should know this if you've really read through my posts. I am here to be challenged in regards to the contents of my views and experiences. Why are you so afraid to be labeled? Is this a concern at all for anyone in search for the Truth? I think not. Let the reality of existence be Buddhist, Taoist, Hindu or whatever. I'm sticking to the one that makes most logical sense and is pertinent to my understanding of this very life.
