Provided this is an accurate summary, Darren Brown ironically seems to be a man of strong belief/convictions. Would not be too surprising, though. Could be called Debunker's Syndrome. I am curiously awaiting your impression of this. If he didn't fall into this mindset, it would really surprise me, because what he does can be very ego-boosting.
