Am I missing something?

center888 Posted January 23, 2010 Hypnosis works through the magnetic force of the mind energy. So he's doing qigong -- when he waves his hands around the people -- he's making an etheric electromagnetic entanglement. The only trick where I noticed an obvious waving of hands was the "voodo trick" at 5:40. IMO he just uses a string for this as he waves five times over her arm while her eyes are already closed (she is counting at this time). When he moves on to touch the arm of the guy she already says "Ok... what now?" as she has felt it already. The only hypnosis relation I noticed was in another video where he explained to use no hypnosis but actually touches a certain point related to suggestibility. yiannis Posted January 24, 2010 This was a very typical theatrical performance of a type of magic called mentalism. All the tricks he performed can be found in magic books for mentalists (as these performers are called in the magic circle), sold in every magic store on the internet. What Drew called "explanations", is called "patter" in magic. That is, the "script" that accompanies each magic effect to form a complete theatrical presentation. Those who live in UK may know the TV celebrity, Derren Brown. Another magician who went from sleight of hand, to sleight of ... mind
