Once I went to see that psychic movie with Tom whats his name Scientology or Dianetics guy -- anyway they use psychic to predict crime. I was waiting for the next showing and Patrick walked down the hallway of the mall -- no one was around as it was afternoon on a weekday in the winter. Anyway Patrick was standing in front of me and I could feel this intense heat coming from his heart chakra. haha. I didn't say anything about it but it was kind of funny. He also was a black belt in karate I think -- he was friends with Jim Nance and they discovered Chunyi Lin together back around 1995. About Patrick Patrick Dougherty, M.A., L.P., is a licensed psychologist with 30 years experience. Along with his private practice, he has been teaching and leading workshops, locally and nationally, for the past 20 years. Coming from a tradition that focuses on the mind, he has spent the last 18 years learning about the connection between the mind and the body, understanding that physical and mental health are intrinsically linked. He has studied and practiced many forms of energy work (meditation, Tai Chi, and others) before becoming a qigong practitioner. Of course you would know of Frances Gaik's 'Managing Depression with Qigong'? It is based upon spring forest techniques--includes level 1 excercises as an appendix. She's an instructor. Just read David Eisenbergs 'Encounters with Chi'--funny the scepticism that had to be expressed due to lack of western scientific models of testing and results at the time (1985). It's all coming home to roost now though. A favourite moment in the book: Herbert Benson being manipulated like a puppet by a ChiGong master and afterwards suggesting it was suggestability . When I first saw Chunyi Lin he looked JUST LIKE the qigong master photo in Eisenberg's book -- the medical masters doing telekinesis.
