Encephalon Posted January 27, 2010 There are now several dozen CD audiobook titles available from Shambhala Press. They're mighty handy for Ipod people, and most big city libraries, at least in the US, have copies to check out and download. Most of the titles are in the Buddhist category (not that ANYONE in here has anything to learn about Buddhism ), but there are a few Taoist audiobooks as well.  http://www.shambhala.com/html/catalog/items/subject/48.cfm  I thought I'd share this with you all given the following data presented by Harper's Week in Review - Researchers found that, except for their time at school, American children spend almost every waking moment (more than 7.5 hours a day) using an electronic device. It would seem evident from some posts of late that many of us could use a well-deserved break from the Net. Maybe Buddhist/Taoist books on CD could be a means of weaning, yes?
