buscon Posted March 14, 2010 Well, it's all connected. And the worry about the appointment in the morning sends the adrenals (not to keep harping on the one theme, but I've worked through something similar for my own self) into overdrive, and they keep you awake and alert, in survival mode. As far as they're concerned, the appointment may be with a cave bear. The saying, "all fear is the fear of death" applies here   Insomnia happened again, I'm still monitoring it. I've noticed that when I cannot sleep, I loose a lot of water: I go to the toilet a lot for pissing; next morning I feel really dry and I have to recover a lot of water - and I do, with water, tea and fruits.  Could be this drying process connected to the adrenals ? How can I prevent it or limit it ? Any other sensible explanations ?
