liminal_luke Posted March 27, 2010 To me all this questioning of Eric's character simply isn't all that useful to somebody considering buying his books, or embarking on the programs he outlines. (Should he ask you out on a date, well, that's another matter--investigate away!) Lots of people who can't do teach, and sometimes very well indeed. Many a narcissistic spirtual teacher has presented practices which, when diligently followed, reliably help students become beautifully balanced humble people. When i was in counseling school i asked one of my professors if someone with lousy mental health could nevertheless be a good therapist.
