Gerard Posted March 9, 2010 I saw on the last weekend "Alice in Wonderland" and I loved it. The movie doesn't follow the two famous books written by Lewis Carroll. It certainly lacks the depth and wittiness of the written books but still is fun and really enjoyable. Â My rating is: 7/10.
soaring crane Posted March 9, 2010 I'm planning on seeing it soon but was wondering if it's ok for my 10 yr old daughter. What do you think, DC?
Mal Posted March 10, 2010 May help www.imdb.com/title/tt1014759/parentalguide  I will attempt to see this one tonight We always enjoy Mr Depp's movies and have also enjoyed Tim Burton's touch. Plus the new 3D effects have really enticed me back to the movie theatre.  (I've never read the books or actually watched an Alice movie before)
TheSongsofDistantEarth Posted March 10, 2010 J. Depp is really variable. As often as not, I find his acting style overbearing, and I think this will be the same. I'm going to wait for the dvd.
Owledge Posted March 11, 2010 History repeats itself over and over. The history of cinema, too.
soaring crane Posted March 12, 2010 May help www.imdb.com/title/tt1014759/parentalguide   Thank you Mal, that helped a lot  The "intense" scenes are probably too much for my kiddo, she's pretty sensitive.
