Low sex drive/weak erections

Hi,

 

Does anybody here know any good practices to help with the above?

 

I need to stop stressing out about sex and just relax I know, but I notice that even during masturbation the erection is often weak, sometimes I ejaculate without even a full erection.

 

I have started taking Zinc and L-Arginine, and practicing the chinese deer exercise, but the drive is still low.

 

I used to watch a lot of porn. I have quit this practice now, and watch it maybe once a month on a bad day (like today).

 

I just don't seem to get very horny. Anxious, stressed, angry and fearful yes, but relaxed and aroused, not so often.

 

Any help?

I think your focus is too narrow. Pardon the speculation, but you seem like you're not enjoying life. If you focus on cultivating a spirit of peace and pleasure and appreciation throughout your life, that will both settle and consolidate your qi so that you can begin to rebuild what you've depleted through excessive masturbation or excessive stress/anxiety/worry, and you'll enjoy what sexual activity you do engage in more, regardless of the strength of your sex drive or the potency of your erections. And then you'll naturally find yourself getting more aroused. Win-win.

How old are you? You should have your free and total testosterone levels checked, as well as estradiol if you're over 40. There are natural ways to increase you testosterone, do a search here, this has been discussed at length previously.

Suggest go for a medical check up and if there is nothing physically wrong then just concentrate on practice. Do a decent amount of sitting meditation and build up general fitness - try not to focus on sex - especially for stress relief. Does depend a bit on age also - how old are you?

Try not to use porn enymore. I know it is difficult, I have an issue with

it myself.

 

Try to find your rythm of ejacualtions. Try not to ejaculate untill you have a spontanous hard erection and notice how long time it take to get there after an ejaculation. This will give you a hint on how often it is good for you to ejaculate. Try to hold this phase.

 

There is alot of other methods to streanghten your Jing in the book "The sexual teaching of the JADE DRAGON". But the book is about a quite controversial sexual practise, but there are alot of easy methods you can do to streangthen your Jing or sexual energy. You can also check which type of sperm you have and change your eating habits to get more JING and more healhy sperm, which also streangthening JING.

 

If you not are to weak, try to exercise regularly. Eat well and nourisching food. Try some easy things from the book to begin with to streangthening your JING. Check your energy level and health with a TCM acupunturist. Eat some of the herbs mentioned in the book. Try but not together with the herbs to do the virgin boy practise, which is to not masturbate and not ejaculate for 100 days, and not looking at porn during that time either. This is some suggestions. And good luck!

THis exercise should help quite a bit. But if stress and anxiety etc. are predominant in your life working on turning that arround might be more helpful long term. Do you practice any meditation, qigong, yoga etc?

 

I would seek out a TCM doctor if I were you. Your kidneys are probably weak. Weak kidneys correlate with both low sex drive and anxiety. But it is better to get things diagnosed and work from that. In addtion you can get herbs and acupuncture to help in slowly building up your energy.

 

A good kidney exercise is this: Put the right leg on top of the left thigh so that the side of the calf is resting on the leg close to the knee. Hold your right hand on the right leg close to the ankle so that your "palm chakra" (the main acupoint on the hand can`t remember the name but if you google it you will figure it out quite easily) rests above acupoint spleen 6. Put your left hand on the sole of the right foot so that your palm chakra is resting righ above kidney 1/bubley springs. This placement will feel natural. Now slap the foot so that you hit it with about this placement. The main point is that the palm chakra point hits the kideny 1 point. Slap away then change foot. A normal person can slap each foot 500 times a day. A person with a particular issue such as yourself can slap 800 times a day. More would easily create imbalance. I think just 100-300 would do a lot for someone who has opened their channels a bit through yoga/qigong/meditation. I learnt this from her:

What porn does, and what thinking about it does, is it creates this sort of mental routine in your mind. Everyone has natural sexual cycles. Some times they are feeling it, some times they aren't. Some feel it more than others. Some feel it less than others. Some have sexual activity more than they need to. some have sexual activity less than they need to.

 

When you watch porn, or get into some habit, you run the risk of doing things when your body is not ready. If your body is thinking, "not into sex right now." and you're thinking, "I've got some alone time and I'm bored, let's watch porn", you are pretty much forcing your body into an action it doesn't want to do. If you keep this up for long enough, you are probably going to run into some bad things.

 

Then, when your body is into sex mode, well you don't have porn or you don't have the time and everything is just thrown off schedule.

 

Then if you start thinking about how many times you did what, what you watched, what you need to watch to get going, the problems you had the last time you got going- it is going to create this constant cycle.

 

So lay off. If you are an older fellow, head to a doctor and see what's what with your body. In general, try to lead a more healthy lifestyle. Lots of fruits and vegetables, you know. Regular exercise. Fresh air. Plenty of water. Try some light qigong exercises.

 

If you are a younger fellow, well, pretty much the same as above, but you may not necessarily need a doctor. The body, especially when young, has an amazing ability to heal- but you have to LET it. If you are constantly in this cycle of worrying about it, it's never going to heal and you will still have problems.

 

Don't watch porn, don't masturbate, and try not to think of it for at least a week, most likely two, and if you are younger, keep up a healthy lifestyle, things should be fine. If you are older, go see your doctor, again, try a healthy lifestyle, and again, let your body do its thing.

Over the years I have taken various over the counter boosters which may have caused some health issues with bone, joint, tendon degeneration. PLEASE!!! Do your homework. These I wound not reccomend.
