Eviander Posted March 21, 2010 I am spiritually enlightened. And the first person to prove that I exist will be so also the same..
Sloppy Zhang Posted March 21, 2010 (edited) Eviander exists because I say so. So I'm enlightened too now? BA-BOOM! Ah, but now that I'm enlightened I know that Eviander doesn't really exist And neither do I And neither does this post Oh, but since I'm enlightened, I now see that Eviander really DOES exist. And so do I And so does this post Ah, but existing, not existing, such a dualistic concept.... so I'm not enlightened after all But now I see how stupid that thought process is, and transcend it. Gerard Posted March 21, 2010 (edited) Congratulations, me too. However you still have a body to carry and this doesn't free you from performing daily activities: eat, sleep, do the washing... Edited: typo. Edited March 21, 2010 by durkhrod chogori
Birch Posted March 21, 2010 Now my fair friend "you" do not exist. i know this because i have seen myself and i assume we are all the same. But maybe not YOU may be the all-seeing-i i was looking for. Does it ever trouble anyone here that so many of us seem to be seeking, looking and searching? Wouldn't that be a solution? Stop doing it? C T Posted March 21, 2010 I have to buy new pair of trainers ,as my old ones are falling apart. The last time i bought anything to wear was more than 4 years ago! There is enough clothes and shoes in the wardrobe to last me til i kick the bucket!! Sometimes there is the thought that i need 'things' to fulfill and complete 'me' but when such thoughts pop up, they instantaneously transform into thoughts of how fragile life is, and no matter where i think i am at in the process called 'living', there will always be an awareness that in actuality i need so much less than what i have knowingly or unknowingly accumulated over these past 40odd years. I wish everyone here much happiness, the kind that is not dependent on any 'thing', philosophy, analysis, or self-actualizing processes. Here is a meaningful song to accompany this post:
