Fu_dog Posted April 19, 2010 Gandhi's autobiography, "My Experiments with Truth" remains one of the most powerful and inspiring books I have ever read. I highly recommend it. Â His life was extraordinary. One of the fine examples of a personal quantum leap is the one Gandhi made between being a seemingly normal college student and the high level of spirituality he obtained in his first few years out of college. Â He also wrote an interpretation/commentary of the Bhagavad Gita, which is most excellent. Also recommended reading, regardless of your religious affiliation. Fu_dog Posted April 19, 2010 Gandhi was married and had 4 children. Â IIRC it was sometime around 36 years of age that he decided to become celibate to enhance his spiritual experience, even though he was married.
