nac Posted April 19, 2010 (edited) My nomination: Braid (do yourself a favor, play it if you haven't) PS. The least Taoist game I've ever played: http://www.bay12games.com/dwarves/ (I love this too ) Edited April 19, 2010 by nac
TheSongsofDistantEarth Posted April 19, 2010 Most Taoistic video game? How would you define that?
nac Posted April 19, 2010 Most Taoistic video game? How would you define that? That means you haven't played any. The name that can be named is not the eternal name.
RyanO Posted April 19, 2010 (edited) Suikoden, an RPG for the original playstation: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suikoden_%28video_game%29 Very loosely based on Outlaws of the Marsh, you recruit the 108 Stars of Destiny and bring down a corrupt evil empire. So loosely based in fact that the 108 stars are about the only similarity to OotM, but there are other Taoist influences in the game, and it is probably the most Taoist video game I have played (culturally not practically as in Braid). I played this sucker when it came out back in '96 when I was 12. It is my favorite video game of all time. Edited April 19, 2010 by RyanO

Son-Of-Niah Posted April 19, 2010 Okami was a semi-slept-on classic which springs to mind, many aspects of Taoism and the like in that.
