Marblehead Posted April 26, 2010 I am almost always at a loss for words when I see most of those pictures from Hubble. This is one of those times. Thanks for sharing. Peace & Love!
Trogdorf Posted April 26, 2010 Cool, I've never seen anything like that before.. Did they say what it is?
ralis Posted April 26, 2010 Cool, I've never seen anything like that before.. Did they say what it is? A gaseous nebulae where stars are born. I like to think of it as a star nursery. ralis

Ya Mu Posted April 26, 2010 This is mind blowing and maybe the best one I have ever seen! ralis Gonna assume that it is not photoshoped. Does anyone else see the faces?
Marblehead Posted April 26, 2010 Does anyone else see the faces? Nope. No faces for me. My mother used to see Elvis in certain cloud formations. Peace & Love!

LOL _ not prone to seeing elvis Sometimes it is difficult for me to know which dimension I am seeing as it all seems normal to me, but I am pretty sure what I am seeing is in (or coming into) this dimension. Look at lower left formation - 3 faces, two of which are obvious one not so obvious.
sunshine Posted April 26, 2010 I see several animals in the right one... most obviously my sign... the tiger on the top... its tail risen up forming about the highest point of the formationhis face to be seen lower to the left from the side and the full left leg nicely presented... they say the lion is the king I'd still say it is the tiger in the middle I see the head of a phoenix and if you look closer you can find an elephant and maybe even a bear in there... not joking I see the faces too, Michael... in case I see the same as you: the one is like inhaling "mist" (the white shiny light) through its nostrils and eyes I love that smiles H
Marblehead Posted April 26, 2010 I see ... What a wonderful imagination! Something I have never had. I don't know if that is good or bad or if it 'just is'. Peace & Love!

hagar Posted April 26, 2010 re "And how 'insignificant' we earthlings are. " ... and yet from over 'there' we are just as magical... like in 'thou are that'... Well, in Norway we have something called "the day after anxiety", or Fylleangst. The Norse here all know exactly what I talk about. Nough said. Well, one of my favourite hangover pasttimes, well, if I start to ruminate over things I said, things I did, or things that are a blank, I often rest my eyes at the Hubble images neatly downloaded on my iphone app, and rest in the realization of the insignificance of it all. Only to realize that nebulas are relatively small in the great picture as well... Then the whole effect tends to ease off, and thins get abit icky again. h

RyanO Posted April 26, 2010 (edited) Gonna assume that it is not photoshoped. Does anyone else see the faces? I've heard that the photos are edited for color since the actual light is not in our visible spectrum. Edited April 26, 2010 by RyanO
Machin Shin Posted April 26, 2010 I suspect that this is a galaxy that has been torn apart by a collision. There are two cores with the debris strung out between them. Or it's a small galactic cluster that orbits a larger galaxy. The first picture is Zeus pointing the way! Watch out Max! Zeus found some new lightnings to hurl!!! Looks like it might become another spiral galaxy. Beautiful picture! Peace & Love!
