Non Posted April 29, 2010 I've recently been obsessed about goji berries. They are really good for the eyes, blood, upping testosterone, sexual vitality esp. upping testosterone. Anyway.. I've been reading about how there are 2 breeds: lycium barbarum and lycium chinense. Kinda hard to tell apart I would assume, since that's what I've read.. tho I think chinense is spicier. The barbarum is the one that's been marketed the most because of it's health effects.. though chinense has been sold under the same name because they're cheaper but not the real thing. I've noticed also.. that here in the west.. there are goji berries being sold with very high vitamin A and C content, and goji berries with much lower vitamin A and C content.... I was wondering if that had anything to do with the certain breed. What do you think?
