voice Posted March 21, 2006 Aahhh, babies are so sweet. My son is six-years old now, and when I see babies I can still remember the loving sweetness that I felt while holding him as this tiny sac of life and love. Congratulations and enjoy!!! Chris

DaoWaDiddy Posted March 22, 2006 Congratulations and welcome to the club! When his daughter was about 9 months old , a close friend said to me: "Why didn't you tell me how much this was going to change my life? I had no idea I could love someone this much!" And I just had to shrug. You'll discover that you can't encompass it with words.
hagar Posted March 24, 2006 Thank you all! As strange as it may seem, when the baby is here, it feels like he's been around for ever. I haven't slept in 2 weeks, and my girlfriend is on hormonal overdrive, but it's all good in the end. But instead of feeling confident and strong, I feel totally vunerable, worried and overwhelmed. A very good place to do my practice. And when in sitting, my legs are forced into a very painful lotus position... Seems like this kid is going to be my greatest teacher. And he gave me a koan instantly: Where did he come from? Now I have to sign off again for some time. Take care h
