beyondillusion Posted May 4, 2010 Hello and Greetings to you ALL! I am Lenny from Liverpool, England. I am fairly new to Tao, my knowledge is meagre, however I am eager to learn; I have been drawn here for a reason. I would appreciate any advice as to what books to read and videos to watch, I love reading! I look forward to my time here, I've had a brief look around and like what I see! Marblehead Posted May 4, 2010 Hi Lenny, Welcome! May you enjoy your time here. As always, I recommend reading Lao Tzu and Chuang Tzu for the basics of Taoism. These can be found here on-line: http://terebess.hu/english/lexikon/c.html After that you can go in any direction that calls out to you. Peace & Love! Marblehead Posted May 5, 2010 my favorite poet is Leonard Cohen, whom I have been a fan of for some 38 yrs! Namaste, Lenny Good choice, in my opinion. I have most of his earlier recordings. Peace & Love!
beyondillusion Posted May 5, 2010 Good choice, in my opinion. I have most of his earlier recordings. Peace & Love! I was fortunate to Lenny live in concert in 2008 & 2009, I had given up on Lenny touring so when he announced he was back on the road I was overjoyed! When LC did come over here in the UK in the 70's & 80's I was on tour with my own band! I have all his records and books and my wife Nikki has done a charcoal portrait and abstract of the great wordsmith! Plus she has spoilt me with further LC based gifts that are really special! Great to meet another fan of LC's!!!
