Iyoiyo Posted May 18, 2010 Hello all, this is a long shot, but I figured I'd give it a try. I'm graduating college in a few days, but the downside is that I will be moving away from my wonderful Kung Fu teacher, (http://www.thelittledojo.com/fook-yueng if you're curious about the style) and that is very disappointing. I'll be moving back to my home town in Juneau Alaska which, to my knowledge, does not house any established Chinese martial arts schools at all. So, I was wondering if any bums have personal martial connections in Juneau who might be willing to take on a student. Any help is appreciated.
joeblast Posted May 18, 2010 Juneau is so beautiful  I'm pretty sure that my family up there wouldnt be of very much help - I checked around and there's a few places around, some MMA academy groups, thai boxing and a shokotan karate school.  http://www.sherdog.net/forums/f2/mma-bjj-training-alaska-552605/ http://martial-arts-instruction.dapeem.com/Juneau-AK.html http://www.thaiboxing.com/tba_instructors  Good luck - doesnt seem like you'll necessarily find something along the lines of what you've been training though. Martial Development Posted May 19, 2010 http://www.dojoscore.com/schools/browse/n:US/s:Alaska  Even if you can't find a nearby school in the DojoScore database, you can register yourself as an independent martial artist there, and hopefully connect with some practice partners.
