I once browsed through a book on astral vampirism. It was really disturbing stuff, due to how effective it seemed, and also to the attitude it cultivated in the serious reader...

Closest I can touch on this is when coworkers don't carry their weight, (slackers) or manipulation of others is occurring, gets my pressure up and causes a palpable shift in my serenity. Still haven't come up with immunity (seal) from this.

The media in general is a pretty poor depiction of reality

 

For me, personally, I never found vampirism all that appealing. I've never found compromising myself for power appealing at all.

 

If I'm going to become a superior being, why would I weaken myself in the process? Mwahahahahaha

I read this stanza to have an effect on those beings who consider themselves to be vampires. It is a statement found in sutra about the conditions for relics to appear. This relic will have the ability to control the god realm of the vampires.
