joeblast Posted March 26, 2011 Their pots are not good quality, sorry. You could have asked here for advice...but it is only a pot and you may well decide to buy another one, so feel free to ask for English online sources of real zisha. Â Â Â Try these others and let us know. I distrust vendors that are high on sales pitch and gifts like Amazing Green Tea, their teas don't match the quality they like to portray: Â http://www.rishi-tea.com/store/ancient-moonlight-white-organic-fair-trade-white-tea.html http://www.teacuppa.com/Jun-Shan-Yin-Zhen-White-Tea.asp http://store.swansisters.com/Silver-Needle-White-Tea/M/B001KUWIU4.htm No worries I knew it wasnt a super quality one, didnt want to spend a lot, it is my second teapot so I really dont have much frame of reference anyway. My first pot is a pretty nice one, it was a gift so a little more money than I wanted to spend on a second. I'm sure I will buy another pot at some point, I will remember to ask around for some opinions /\ Â I'll try some of that other silver needle, but the AAA baihao yinzhen from AGT I find to be very tasty and much better than other silver needles I've come across...in my limited experience I've probably only tried 5 or 6 total. I did try one Rishi one, an organic white silver needle "snow buds"...they were pretty good but honestly didnt even come close to the 2010 I got from AGT. Â The pu erh I just tried recently, a few months ago, and I liked it...so that one I really have no frame of reference as I've only tried one!
Mal Posted March 27, 2011 Madura Green Tea bags. Supermarket available, <$5 , quite drinkable. Â I've started taking these along as a portable option (individually sealed teabag) as most places/restraunts have tea facilities. I also left some at my Mum's so I can have a cup of tea, she worries the loose leaf stuff "looks like something bad" Â On the other side of El Cheapo pricing I just ordered 2x 2011 King grade Dragon Well from Amazing Green Tea. I have one sealed 2010 left that I can soon compare back to back with the 2011. I thought the 2010 was good enough for the price + I just can't access 1 day of the season tea from anywhere else. Although Postcard Teas Master Luo's Long Jing 2010 is (probably) a better tea, as you would expected from one of the sixteen Grand Firing Masters but it's not 1st day of harvest. Eto Posted May 1, 2011 Anybody tried the teas from Mountain Rose Herbs? http://www.mountainroseherbs.com/tea_bev/tea_greenwhite.html  Id like to try the Ancient Forests and Dao Ren priced at $29 and $19/lb. Seems these would qualify as El Cheapo, no?
