Procurator Posted June 27, 2010 (edited) And they were planning to bomb Germany 70 years ago, so they invented the Holocaust too, right? shrug. right. Secret of the Lusitania: Arms find challenges Allied claims it was solely a passenger ship By Sam Greenhill Last updated at 1:16 AM on 20th December 2008 Comments (0) Add to My Stories Her sinking with the loss of almost 1,200 lives caused such outrage that it propelled the U.S. into the First World War. But now divers have revealed a dark secret about the cargo carried by the Lusitania on its final journey in May 1915. Munitions they found in the hold suggest that the Germans had been right all along in claiming the ship was carrying war materials and was a legitimate military target. ...Americans were even told, falsely, that German children were given a day off school to celebrate the sinking of the Lusitania. .............Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1098904/Secret-Lusitania-Arms-challenges-Allied-claims-solely-passenger-ship.html#ixzz0s33Q0Fp8 Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1098904/Secret-Lusitania-Arms-challenges-Allied-claims-solely-passenger-ship.html#ixzz0s32eH23N Edited June 27, 2010 by TianShi
gendao Posted June 27, 2010 (edited) ...Americans were even told, falsely, that German children were given a day off school to celebrate the sinking of the Lusitania. .............Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1098904/Secret-Lusitania-Arms-challenges-Allied-claims-solely-passenger-ship.html#ixzz0s33Q0Fp8 Yea, pretty much all mass media is propaganda, by definition. And ESPECIALLY during wartime! Then afterwards, history is only written by the winners... Cuz you control the past, you control the present. You control the present, you control the future. And the Holocaust is no exception to these policies, either. Most everyone would agree that Jews (and others) were rounded up and interned into concentration camps. However, "conspiracy theorists" would then argue that several hundred thousand Jews eventually died of starvation there...as opposed to 6 million being cremated to death. Either is a human tragedy of course, but the issue has simply become too politically radioactive for anyone to even research further. In fact, unsubtantiating the official version is illegal in 16 countries now. Of course, the problem with this policy is that it only adds more credence to a "cover-up" conspiracy in the minds of conspiracy theorists. The better (and less Orwellian) approach would be to welcome all open debate and then use actual evidence to deny the "deniers." Not censorship. Now I don't know how many Chinese were actually murdered by the Commies, but the point is that the Cultural Revolution did do a lot of damage to many old traditions there, regardless. Mao was an evil idiot. No need to make that up! Edited June 27, 2010 by vortex
gendao Posted June 27, 2010 If you count willful starvation as "murder" (and I do), we're talking in the neighborhood of 50 million...Well, estimates of deaths under Mao (due to starvation, direct murder, etc) range from 20-70 million. Clearly, even the low estimate is ginormous...although the degree of uncertainty alone is even greater. Point being, if anyone thinks they can magically accurately pinpoint chaotic wartime death tolls - they are fooling themselves. Most of the best guesses are still very rough guesstimates. Gerard Posted June 28, 2010 its a myth created by the western propaganda machine, there was no "destruction of daoism" or tibetan buddism for that matter . your government lies to you about pretty much everything, including (surprise!) the world history. It is very sad to read this. But let me tell you something: The Red Brigades will not destroy the spirit, ever! Simple because it will grow stronger. Now China is only worried about MIND and GREED, like the rest of the world, which is pretty pathetic.
