Gaelicrock Posted July 23, 2010 I am GaelicRock, and I am a Yogi! I am excited to get to know all of you!
WallaMike Posted July 23, 2010 OK, Mr. Yogi, please tell us a little about yourself. Are you a Gaelic Yogi? Do you go Taoist yoga? I started out as a yoga teacher, still meditate, but progressed to tai chi and more recently specific qigong forms. WallaMike
Gaelicrock Posted July 30, 2010 Ha, sorry, Mr. WallaMike. I am not a Yogi, in that I don't spend my life on yoga, as many great practitioners do. I called myself that to simplify things. The username is the meaning of my name. I also practice tai chi, and a little of everything. There isn't much to choose from around where I live, save Tae Kwon Do and Karate, so I have to do a lot of the practices on my own. Â Before you fret about this and say that it is a really bad idea, know that I have heard it all before (if you weren't going to say this, I apologize, I don't want my forum topic to be filled with negativity). I firmly believe that everyone can adapt their own style of training, to whatever suits him/her. Hopefully I'll get to know you better, and learn from your past experiences with teaching yoga!
