The reason being you have sent a piece of your virtue to the person you defeated and he sent a piece of his karma to you in return.

 

To win in cultivation one must loose and let others win. What we loose is bad stuff(karma) and what we gain is virtue, xinxing level and Gong.

What i posted priginaly was the fact that i think wan qi or bob kim is getting away from spiritual stuff. We have xchanged some words. I have virtualy let go of all my hate for him.
