markern Posted October 16, 2010 It would be interesting to be able to track how the levels of various hormones etc. in my body fluctuate over time (presumably) because of my practice. To what extent can one do that (cheaply I hope)at home and to what extent would tests need to be done at the doctor or at a lab?
thelerner Posted October 17, 2010 Good question. I hope someone has an answer. Things that are relatively easy to track. Acid/Alkaline balance, w/ relatively cheap strips. Resting heart rate in the morning. Sugar levels in blood w/ urine strips. Those are easy. For experts the pulse can be a diagnostic tool similar to blood samples, but that takes rare expertise. I wonder how far you can go w/ inexpensive urine tests? Michael
