Greetings from the Rain Forest

Hello everyone!

 

This is Owl. So glad to finally come out of the shadow of the deep forest and say hi. It has been a long 8 years of silently observing the beautiful unfolding of this community.

 

I have been deeply moved by Trunk's work, wildly entertained by Plato's adventures, and warmly embraced by this magical space held by Sean. I want to thank all those who have shared their practices, struggles and triumphs over the years.

 

A little about myself:

 

- I am ethnically Chinese. Born in South East Asia. Came to the US as a young adult.

- Fluent in modern and classical chinese.

- In and out of chinese medical training since 2000. Currently full-time in TCM graduate school.

- Daoist meditation: never advance beyond the healing sounds, and inner smile

- Dabbled in a variety of bodywork and movement work a la Tao Bums.

 

I hope to post a few articles in the near future on topics related to daoist practice and chinese medicine.
