sifusufi Posted January 21, 2011 (edited) My wife and I caught Moonrise yesterday evening by surprise as we made a turn. Â Shockingly huge on the horizon partially obscured by some passing clouds. Â As it made it's ascent it naturally began to loose the golden shades and began to glow brightly, I mentioned this thread to my wife and she speculated on the cold atmosphere. Â The image was soon lost due to a blanket of lake effect, however the night was quite bright regardless of the cloud cover. -22 wind chill to boot, did make for some serene viewing from the windows anyway.
