manitou Posted November 20, 2013 We were getting into a booth in a restaurant the other day. Â The woman sitting in the booth next to us was wearing a T-shirt, but I only saw the back of it. Â It was longer than this, but it said something like: Â I came prepared to fight I came prepared to capture I came prepared to die, But I didn't come prepared to be abandoned. Â I chuckled and said to her "Oh, that's funny". I honestly thought it was talking about Marriage. Â What I didn't see was the front of the T-shirt. I found out later that it was a POW / MIA t-shirt. I wrote a Letter to the Editor and tried to apologize to her for my foot-in-mouth mistake. I felt just horrible, it may have pertained to someone close to her.
