GrandTrinity Posted March 30, 2011 I was just sitting here thinking... About the orgasmic feeling I been experiencing recently.. As Im finding myself surrounded by a beautiful natural setting. I live on a tropical island destination with perfect beaches and mountain areas... Phuket Island, Thailand. There are many priceless view points here.... Returning here and viewing the beauty of nature from different view points - I have an orgasmic feeling when I feel I am in heaven on earth. I was not sure where else to share this! And I thought it was important! Its something from Tao... so here it is - my return to Tao Bums after about 5 years! Who else has been so fortunate as to have these orgasmic experiences when suddenly appreciating a wonderful environment? Infinte Love, GT
SageMD Posted March 30, 2011 I think woman would be more likely to have these experiences than men (due to physiology). I also think most woman would never say anything of their experiences, regarding this... just my thoughts.

Gerard Posted March 30, 2011 Definitively, I am here, enjoying a cup of bulang mountain puerh in the heart of Yunnan, after a morning session of Bagua unleashing the tiger within. Nature's beauty is free like our dragon spirit. Best place to find the hidden yet obvious Dao.
Marblehead Posted March 30, 2011 Hi Grand Trinity, Welcome back. Yeah, I have had those experiences although I have never referred to thaem as orgasmic. Of all places, my first one was in Vietnam during the war. How strange is that?
Otis Posted March 30, 2011 Will I be a complete downer, if I add some science to this divine experience? My psych prof dad told me about a recent discovery: that we can activate our sense of God-presence, merely by looking at things at a great distance. This, of course, explains why we have these sublime experiences when looking up at the stars, at a far-away mountain or valley, at rainbows and sunsets. In each case, we have the experience of: "it's times like this, that I believe in God" or "I feel really small, but in a good way". I experience much of it on my hikes in the Hollywood hills, looking down on L.A. That (hopefully) doesn't minimize what y'all are sharing (Gerard and Grand Trinity, I am so jealous!). I think there is a reason why our brains are wired toward awe, in such cases. If nothing else, it inspires us away from provincialism, and towards getting "the big picture".
Seth Ananda Posted March 30, 2011 Sure, Nature is my favourite Girl And yes to the distant gazing! Its found in so many traditions. One describes it as a way to grow 'soul'.
fizix Posted March 30, 2011 Yes, these experiences are wonderful. On shrooms, the awe of nature is beyond orgasmimc, you can feel so strongly the life the spirits the energy..... haha I like the name of the island Phuket... in terms of being in a state of spiritual non-attachment.... "look, Phuket! I'm just gonna kick back and enjoy the simple things, in the moment here and now... phuk the future!"
aridus Posted March 30, 2011 I feel this. Just a question... does it ever feel like every single molecule is flowing with boundless energy, and it just goes out and out, and gets bigger and bigger, to the point where you can no longer feel a body or container, as it is immensely larger than any space you could physically occupy?
