Mo Pai and Immortality

Recommended Posts

Waysun Liao is probably the most powerful taoist master on this planet, comparable to Mo Pai level 72.[/u][/b] :o [/u]

So you know what the measures for achieveing the Mo Pai level 72 are?

of course the word "probably" excuses you, one can say anything after "probably"

He has UNLIMITED POWER because the power of TAO flows constantly into him.

That's the general description of how any energy master operates. For example, I have read it mentioned many times with people practicing Indonesian and Malaysian internal arts, not just grandmasters.

I have nothing against Waysun Liao, but claims like this don't serve him nor you nor the thread (which I'm enjoying and thankful for as it's interesting discussion) well.

I understand your enthusiasm, though.

Well, it seemed to me at least someone needed to at least raise some of these obvious questions.

If answers arise that can withstand some scrutiny then at least a person is making a more

informed decision, but if a person keeps their self-imposed blinders on regardless of the facts

they may well be opening the door to some hard lessons further down the road.

At least the matter has been raised. Everyone has to make their own decision.

Ok, I have spoken my piece.

Thanks for sharing your research Iskote. I also find Liao's stories about the history of what he teaches to be quite suspect, and find the high prices and thin (compared to the things he writes about) content of his DVDs to be disappointing. But I really got a lot out of his books.

Honestly though, there are other teachers who tell stories that the skeptic in me has a field day with, but who have undeniable skill and whose books I treasure. I've gotten pretty used to it. ^_^

I also agree 100% with this statment:

That's the general description of how any energy master operates. For example, I have read it mentioned many times with people practicing Indonesian and Malaysian internal arts, not just grandmasters.

I might ask him again about it later..

However, he wasn't even sure if it was legit at the time, as I think some smoke may have also been involved. And again, I'm also not sure who exactly his teacher was..

Unfortunately, I have to correct myself here.

I believe that my friend had studied Shaolin "Temple Kung Fu" with Grandmaster Olaf Simon in Seattle. Which apparently has not garnered positive online reviews:

Temple Kung Fu Franchaise

Temple Kung Fu & Grandmaster Simon ????????????????????

Temple Kung Fu crumbles under the weight of its own BS

Based on these reviews, I must suspect that my friend must have tricked himself with his own eyes. Again, he was never sure to begin with - there was a lot of smoke involved, I believe.

And there also does not appear to be any association with Waysun Liao's "Temple Style Tai Chi," anyways..

I didn't know that facts, thanks! Do you know how you bring the Yin- and Yang Chi into your body in Mo Pai? I guess Yin Chi by breathing in through Huyin or the feet and Yang Chi by breathing in through bahui (crownpoint of head)?

And why can't you simply breath in primordial Wu/Ling/One Chi (the "godly" Chi that splits or transforms into Yin- and Yang Chi)and condense it in dantian?

Would be the easier way.

Waysun Liao claims in "Nine Nights with the Taoist Master" that the Chi that you can breath in through the pores from around you IS in fact the "unused" One Chi and therefore it can replenish your own remaining One Chi. He claims that you have to bring it in through the pores and then condense it into the spine to "replenish" your One Chi. Also, he claims that your "TE" in in fact a little piece of TAO and some kind of matrix that organizes your development and existence and that it resides in the center of dantian. This TE works with One Chi, changes it to Yin Chi to nourish your body from the inside and to Yang Chi to protect your body on the outside. When your One Chi burns out, you loose contact with your TE, you decline, decay and cease and then the TE goes on to create the next personality or so.

So, when you replenish your One Chi so it doesn't burn out, you can always hold on to your TE, never burn out as a personality.

Well, matter of fact is, in Waysun Liao's Nei Gong part of his Temple Style Tai Chi System, that I have through Gary Clyman, you ALSO breath in Chi through your Bahui and through your Huyin (supposedly Heaven- and Earth Chi) in one exercise and mix them ALL AT ONCE into your dantian. Seems much more secure then the Mo Pai method to me...

mix the two techniques! draw in as the mo pai says and add the skin breathing to it.

Also, concerning Kosta's claims and other sources about Mo Pai and other "Thunderpath" schools/sects: According to our TTB member forestofsouls' first hand experience with Waysun Liao, refering to HERE:

http://www.thetaobum...__1

Well, according to Kosta's claims and other sources about Mo Pai and other "Thunderpath" schools/sects Waysun Liao shouldn't be able to

1) generate an electric kind of Chi

and

2) transfer it through the air without touching,

because Waysun Liao's system doesn't include the oh so difficult YinYangGong!!! (...at least not as a topic worth to mention! They suck in Heaven- and Earth Chi in one exercise and condense them into dantian, as I said. That's all.)

Any opinions? happy.gif

Ha, I already love this thread, the demanding topic, the controversy, the revelations...I mean, that's the central topic in Daoism: How to achieve immortality!

So please: Keep the great comments coming!! biggrin.gif

heaven chi/yang-earth chi/yin, if they absorb them into the dantinen then they already mix yin and yang. this is what people are missing! they call it the thunderbolt path because they store heaven chi/yang, then mix it with yin this creates a powerfull bolt of electricity within the body and trying to tame it is like riding a thunderbolt. " dangerous " they are all different paths with the same out come due to practicing the same technniques in different ways. what Waysun Liao practices is after lvl 4 in mo pai just done early. no draw back and not dangerous, mo pai after level 4 you mix heaven and earth chi, yin and yang. there are different methods to getting there just decode the messages.

How to identify TRUE internal power (Neijing) in action to identify a true master (of YinYangGong)?

How can we detect if the power of someone like John Chang, Gary Clyman, Sifu Jiang or others is REAL or FAKE?

Well, there is a CLUE! I identified it already on my own some time ago, but because of this thread and because I discovered today an article of a taichi master who affirmed what I catched already for myself.

So stay tuned:

http://www.taichisoc...org/neijin.html

(Yeah, but Bruce Frantzis got it in three month or so! Yeah, right! rolleyes.gif )

And now here is the big one, the CLUE:

So, that's it: Neijin(g) or internal power when used leads to vibrations that don't look like they could be reproduced by conscious muscle action or willed shaking! When emitted from the hands, the hands tremble and shake in that abnormal way!

Let's see:

That's the White Crane vibration that Frantzis learned supposedly from Liao! Obviously it's FAKE! It's what Grand Master Kellen Chia calls "Tai Chi Jin"...only body mechanics! No Neijing here! Lol, Westerner Frantzis was tricked by the asian guy Liao with the "westerner and outdoor student" version of Jing (= "Tai Chi Jin"), if you ask me! cool.gif No way he could have achieved Neijing in three month or so! And BTW, no wonder people hurt themselves (as Frantzis claimed) when dithering around like that! laugh.gif

Let's see this guy:

Watch closely 2:53 what the american guy says:"His hand trembles when he does that!"

IMO: Master Shu is TRUE! wink.gif

Our great role model John Chang:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UvtQXliHxdc

Watch closely 2:06: TRUE!!! (of course!) biggrin.gif

What about contoversial Gary J. Clyman? True or fake? What do you think?

(the URL didn't work, had to insert the link!)

Yea, it's blurred, but watch very closely 6:57 - 6:59, maybe several times until you get it, especially his left hand!

Gary is TRUE!!! and has real Neijing! cool.gif

OK, last but not least: Shifu Jiang:

Watch (in HD!) around 1:02 in the first and 0:35 - 0:43 in the second vid. Hmmm...don't know about the first vid, the little shaking could be caused through muscular tension. Don't looks like Neijing-vibration to me! And in the second vid, there was definitely no shaking at all. And because I guess that burning human flesh needs a more than a little bit Neijing (remember John Changs extreme vibrating arm when burning the newspaper....well, make your own conclusion! I would rather say FAKE!!!

Interesting, wasn't it?

AND: I would conclude that John Chang's power is basically the same NEIJING as every internal MA master as Waysun Liao or Gary Clyman has! Maybe he has more juice in his dantian, maybe Waysun Liao has more, who knows, but it's the same stuff!

Your opinions, please! biggrin.gif

i tould like to add somthing about this! mr Frantzis could have learned jing in 3 months. and this is how. he had already been practicing bagua for years! ive read his books and have practiced his bagua energy forms. and they work! but when i started tai chi, shing yi, and bagua, i wasnt new to meditation. so i already knew what my energy felt like and how to move it. its what you know before you learn about somthing that will determin what you will be able to do with it.

also when it comes to jing it depends on how much you have that will determin the effect. if your jing is low the effect wont be as it would be with somone with high jing. its like frequencie. the equasion for frequency is frequency devided by time and distance. frequency is jing how fast you vibrate it determines the effect, but this is dependent on how much heaven and earth chi/ yin and yang you have stored in the dantien. this equals voltage. the more you have the further you can move the chi and sustain it. also the higher vibrations you can attain.

I see that in this forum there are many people confusing the concepts.

Every real Lei Shan Dao school also has a martial art as well as neigong, internal art. The martial art consists of the physical moves kicks, punchs, elbow strikes, blocks etc. forming the external side of the school. But there is also internal neigong work.

Historically, internal and external work has been practiced together just as you see in Chang Sifu's life. However, during the evolution of the schools, some traditions lost the neigong but kept the external side, the martial arts side. Taijiquan was the external side of Zhang Sanfeng school. However, he was level 72 internally.

Internal martial arts of today has a very little of the original curriculum of circulating qi however they do not have the forms of collecting qi as in neigong. Fa jing, release of force is also inherited from the days where martial arts and neigong have been practiced together. But it will be a mistake to think that fa jing is Yin-Yang Gong.

Interestingly, a similar argument is also valid for Shaolin. In the history, there are real neigong masters in Shaolin School as Daruma was also level 72 but in the history they lost this tradition. Today, Shaolin also has neigong secrets but they only know level 1.

I see that Waysun Liao is a taijiquan master but not a real neigong master of Lei Shan Dao.. I may be wrong of course. I do not know him personally but I had this impression.

You have three phases of tai chi training.

1 physical

2 mind training ( neigong)

3 spiritual

Cayman's material has no advanced spiritual training in it. His material is 1 and 2 from the above list.

Master Liao's material is so different now because back in the 70's there was a martial arts frenzy.

Taichi is about God, not right and left and condensing breathing. In western translation tai chi churn would mean

God's fist. Let go and let God. That's true tai chi.

This thread is so full of ignorance that it's appalling.

Real Taoists keep their mouths shut and act dumb.

this is true!

I agree

but

Maybe this is why there is such a misunderstanding?
