Option to ignore entire Topics?

there is an option to ignore posts by member name.

 

is there an option to also ignore topic (hide topic listing) by member name?

 

if not then can it be done?

Go to your profile.

 

Click edit profile

 

Click 'Manage ignored users' form list on right (6th I think)

 

Add user name and click either/ both/ and posts, PMs.

 

Actually not sure if this blocks entire topics by said user as I've never ignored anyone. Try it and see.

I'm not sure.

 

I just don't read topics that don't catch my interest; unless they become really long threads, or they persistently bump to the top of the board. Then I might get curious and have a look.

This is a great idea! There are several members I feel are just spam bots and I find everything they post really obnoxious. I would love to be able just to not see any topics they create in addition to not viewing their posts
