theurgy Posted June 22, 2011 Greetings All! I read this forum all the time and decided to start posting albeit sporadically. I'm not really a Taoist per se: My background is in the Western Hermetic Tradition. My work mostly consists of studying Kabbalah and practicing laboratory Alchemy. Recently I have become interested in Taoist energy practices as a supplement to my laboratory work. As we say in our tradition "one cannot make progress in the laboratory unless one has accomplished the inner work." My current favorite study topic is Kundalini and the means to go about activating it permanently. In Western Alchemy this is done by working with plants and minerals but I feel energy work may be seen as an effective adjunct to the "Great" work. Much peace to All of You, theurgy
