strawdog65 Posted July 3, 2011 Just got done reading about this on this site. http://www.enterprisemission.com/Phobos.html Imagine if this is true. An ancient, hollowed out, non natural object, within our own solar system. Just waiting for us to "discover" it. A Russian probe is due to arrive in 2012.
manitou Posted July 3, 2011 That's almost too fun to think about. I dropped out somewhere around the graphs at the bottom. So the article is saying there is a possibility that there is an unnaturally formed concave rock orbiting Mars; and that there do not appear to be any natural phenomena that would explain the 90 degree striations? And that the Russians are scheduled to check this out further in 2012?

And that the Russians are scheduled to check this out further in 2012? Hi Manitou! Yes! The moon is 30% hollow, and from the data from the ESA probe, the hollow is divided into sections. They also state that(not sure how they know this)there is gas or atmosphere within the hollow areas. Seems like it's a slow motion disclosure going on. The Russian probe due there in 2012 has a mission to visit and return with samples. They (the ESA) have already acknowledged that this "moon" is by all standards not natural in either its being hollow, or it's orbit, which should have decayed within something like 11 million years, being as close to Mars as it is orbiting. So orbitally, it makes no sense for it to still be there, it should have collided with the surface of Mars a couple of billion years ago. Then there is the outgassing that has been detected since the previous 1989 Russian probe flyby. Deimos the other Martian moon is exhibiting the same outgassing. There is conjecture that both Deimos and Phobos were moved into their present positions within a recent geologic time frame. Buzz Aldrin has shown up talking about Phobos in the strangest places. When he was on "dancing with the stars" he interjected that Phobos was the most important place for humans to go. There is a lot of info on this from Richard Hoagland. Maybe it's just BS, but that would be damned cool if we found an ancient relic of a hollowed out moon/ship. Just imagine if there is any technology within that moon. All I can say is Wow!
strawdog65 Posted July 4, 2011 Bump! There must be others with an opinion? What if this turns out to be true?

manitou Posted July 5, 2011 Fascinating stuff! Wouldn't it just be wonderful if spacial observation as we know it was turned over on its head some day soon? When the pieces start to fit together and we Realize that we are a cog in a wheel? When science loses its arrogance and actually opens its mind, not fearful of looking foolish? Immortal4life Posted July 6, 2011 Interesting. Perhaps the new Transformers movie is more timely than we realize. I'm not a fan of David Wilcock.
