Great job with this article! It is hard to know what is going on with this is China right. Perhaps many people wish to study but cannot?

 

This gives me more motivation to cultivate stronger...

 

very good job on important subject which really needed a clearer expounding.

Often when we learn a martial art or Qigong we wonder where it came from and what are its roots. By giving us a history of the development of QiGong in China we can begin to understand its modern foundation.

 

The crackdown on religious practices destroyed many ancient QiGong and martial styles. It also created new ones that were watered down and less threatening to the Government. This is where Wu Shu began. Many people do not even realize that its a modern form which has a large emphasis on dancing patterns.
