Marblehead Posted September 17, 2011  My body is a cage that keeps me From dancing with the one I love But my mind holds the key  My access to it was blocked.  But the mind is a part of the body. No body, no mind.  Just dance.

Marblehead Posted September 17, 2011 Yep. That one worked. Â What a depressing song. Â I do understand the emotions but I will suggest that life doesn't have to be that way.

Bubbles Posted September 17, 2011 What a depressing song. Â Some people obviously like to think that their body is a problem and assume that Buddhism or Daoism do support this idea because they can find here and there some quotes saying apparently negative things about the body. But how can Buddha praise the precious life of a human, how can Daoists insist so much in the care we should take of our body to realize the Dao? Birth, growth, decay :this is the destiny of the body; so what? the body is not a cage but a launchpad If you stay attached you will not take off, if you despise it, you won't have any fulcrum to trigger the ignition. Marblehead Posted September 18, 2011 That's heavy! I don't go there very often any more. I guess I'm getting old. Hehehe   But this:  if you're head is high you never fear at all  I do be that. And I think I can honestly say that even though my head is held high I rarely if ever look down on anyone.
