Id go the other way and say nature was heavens executioner. You lose your fear of death , you do stupid things that get you killed ,

OR according to DJM it is the knowledge of ones death (standing directly to ones left) , which puts the clearest perspective on ones life, without which ,one is dead already.

I think you're probably more correct in the roles.

 

Its just that my view is that heaven is the mandate which nature carries out... so yes, Nature is heaven's executioner but heaven really makes the call... so to me, that ultimately means that heaven made the decision to execute.
