Protector Posted October 3, 2011 We live in a world... that is very big It's like a storm, it can destroy you The universe doesn't hurt or feel pain, it doesn't need your help But people still ask for it and get nothing as they go against the flow It doesn't judge, how does it know what you want And what you want is for it to follow YOUR rules  You work hard, and what is your payoff? Universe is one, it is in perfect balance Only you live in a world of duality where hard work = good things happening You are so small but in your head your problems are so big You think you got nothing for your... years of school work and pain? You already have it but you can't see it  Make yourself one with the universe, nothing can harm you now Get shot killed stabbed burned, doesn't matter You are dust in the wind and you see it now You can be even more one with the universe Die and turn to dust, make everyone forget you existed You are outside of duality, just like before, before you were born "Nothing" can hurt you not and there is so much "Nothing" for you You ARE Nothing, from the never ending story  We can all disappear and that would be OK Not good or bad, just OK; there wont be good or bad Imagine being part of the great OK of the universe We been there before but we are back in duality world again, sorry When there's nothing, duality makes for it a something So this is not the time to give up  In here we can ascent to greater wisdom love and riches A speck compared to the world, so many gifts are thrown at us Change your perspective and finally see this It's time to create, if you don't move, nothing will happen Turn your pain into something beautiful If it hurts, make it hurt more More and more until it doesn't hurt anymore Then you will see magic happen 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Nice work!  A lot of abstract ideas, though. I tend to prefer poetry with more concrete imagery. I really liked "Turn your pain into something beautiful." I don't know if you would be interested in a poetry exercise, but a good one would be to write another poem and title it "Turn your pain into something beautiful." See where that takes you. Â Be it as it may, we are experiencing duality, but we need not experience duality, so long as we can take the time out of our experience to see the nothing in between moments, the void that fills those gaps between experiences. Â Because of the nothing inbetween the tiniest of spaces, duality exists. Inside and beside, and all around the nothing; Because of the duality that occupys space, there must be "a nothing".
