GrandTrinity Posted October 2, 2006 (edited) Enlightenment. What a word? Lately I have been thinking about how this word is so lacking. I mean, I have friends whose skin is black. Whose to say light is any better than dark? What is one without the other? Doesnt the word enlightenment fall short of being a good word? Do to our cultural constructions/the word's abuse? How does "clear light" compare? Is endarkenment as important as enlightenment? I would think so, from a taoist perspective! But then, doesnt this word fail us? Or arsising/falling-tripping out of the duality, is enlightenment making oneness? Perhaps a better word is fusion, non dual, or...wow these things really have no words. How about proper meditation. That's why I prefer telepathy. But not any sort of telepathy. The transmission of feelings and emotions. By pass even thinking of words. Takes alot of training. freeform Posted October 3, 2006 The birds outside my window imitate the sound of car alarms. Dogs make a very low, quiet growl to dscipline their pupps. Humans talk about talking. Humans talk about thinking. ('thinking' is talking about experiencing.) If we stop talking, we can stop thinking and start experiencing. Then we can imitate car alarms and discipline our pupps.
