I simply could not have expressed it more simple or better myself flowing hands ... maybe we should continue in the Tao Te Ching forum in this site? I and others are interested in talking about some of the difficult to understand chapters! I am myself most interested in those chapters that are in the exavacated Guodian version. E.g. chapter 25 ... why do you not use the word 'follows' in your last line of the chapter? Man follows the Earth Earth follows Heaven Heaven follows the Dao Dao is what is natural The character 法 'follows' occurs in all four lines but you treat the last differently?
