GrandTrinity Posted October 11, 2006 If anyone would like to join for semi-private lessons... This guy is the real deal Qi Gong Grand Master, he was trained from the age of three, and is from the line of Lao Tzu, Yellow Emporer and Chang Sang Feng. Here is a message from Dee, the student who is hosting the teacher: Hi, I've been fortunate to have studied with Grandmaster Yuanming Zhang for the past five years, and I'm pleased to announce that he is coming to Boston again to teach, the weekend of November 11-12. A Daoist scholar once described Grandmaster Zhang as, "The real deal", since his training was directly from old masters in the remote Qing Cheng Mountain area of Sichuan province. These masters taught him the traditional, "secret", inner teachings (mi jiao), that were previously passed down only within ancient lineages, and still can only be learned directly from master to student. Now, Grandmaster Zhang can teach us these deeper levels of practice, and inner methods of qi circulation that make the outer, physical practices effective. If you've never attended one of Grandmaster Zhang's workhops, the first day is a good introduction to his traditional teachings, and will be of benefit both to healing professionals, who want to replenish the qi the need for healing, as well as those who are interested in improving their own health. The techniques will be simple enough for those who have no previous experience with qigong, but are unique and will be of interest for those experienced with other forms of qigong. The second day will focus on two different forms of one of the most ancient and important of the classic Qigong Practices - Ba Duan Jin (Eight Pieces of Silk Brocade). The standing and sitting forms have different movements and Grandmaster Zhang will explain what the name really means and why in his Qing Cheng Mountain tradition, there are actually 12 movements. Details about the workshops are below. Please call 617-959-6097 or email [email protected] for more information or to register. You can also register at the door. If you're from out-of-town, let me know if you need information about housing. If you would like not to receive these mailings, please send a reply with the subject heading "unsubscribe" and I will take you off the list. Blessings, Dee Ramee, Lic. Ac.
