Vortex storms, common occurence?

The circular rotation of this storm seems to be pretty common this year. From the Great Lakes to Lousianna this is the second storm I have seen like this. Does it seem unusual to anyone else? It looks like a yin yang is forming in the center

What I find interesting is that the tail of the storm started in the western gulf and moved eastward continuing to be the source point of the evaporation. Like there is some sort of maching evaporating the water in the gulf.

 

(P.S.) Not sure what the proper terminology is in regards to the charactaristics of the storm)

Then it all disapears? What teh heck! Is anyone else seeing this?

It seems common to me...nature moves like this, and does crazy things often.

That one blanks out as well at the end of the loop, Same time as the one I recorded from NWS, weird.
