Funny, it seems like a pond would be the safest place for a toad if there was an earth quake. I mean.. what are they doing.. Hopping into buildings?

 

And another thing. 'Abandoned a pond'?? Toads can't swim(frogs can).

 

Before I say 'Run for your lives. The toads are on the move.' I'd want some back up info.
