The colour "Blue" in Chinese Culture

Hi,

 

Can anyone tell me the value and or significance/meaning of the colour "Blue" in Chinese culture, ranking etc?

 

I am very interested in this form a cultural and Martial Arts level and would appreciate any and all information and discussion.

In Russian there are two colors blue, Russia is close to China

Why the fixation on 'blue'? You should explore why this color is dominant in your thinking while it may have no association to what you want. Define your purpose first.

 

From what I know and experience, blue is more often a part of other colors; Green-Blue and Black-Blue. On it's own, it is not significant.

 

What one has to embrace the ever-unfolding... So here is a chinese character to let unfold: 青, Qing.

I just know that in Feng-Shui, blue is for knowledge, yin, water, and North-East
