Edward M Posted January 16, 2012 (edited) Simon Das, a lifelong practitioner of Indonesian and Malaysian Pentjak Silat systems, will teach his Silat Kysatria Dharma in an ongoing series of 5 hour intensive training sessions held each month.  Simon's art and teaching evolved through many real life barehand and weapons fights, along with deep commitment to the spiritual, artistic and cultural aspects of the south east Asian arts.  A rough guide to what you will learn on these sessions will be -  Session 0ne - barehand and weapons fighting drills from fixed to free, covering all angles of attack, plus a couple of Jurus (short sets) and Lankhas (stepping). Theory and principles. Training the mind. Sessions Two - structure and internal force for explosive release of whole body striking power. Sessions Three - conditioning drills. Sessions Four onwards - for those who have completed the basic three sessions, now a step by step teaching of all aspects of the system.  locations - Hertfordshire and Cambridge  Contact Simon at: [email protected] or Alex at: [email protected]  Anyone interested in Silat, martial arts, or energy work, this is deffinitely worth attending.  Peace Ed Edited January 16, 2012 by Edward M
