Marblehead Posted January 25, 2012 Caves are very interesting places. One can really get a good look at one's self while in a cave if time is taken to do that.
Chang Posted January 25, 2012 This fellow is a Church of England clergyman who has produced a couple of very interesting documentaries on both Christianity and world religion in general. A very interesting bloke. Â rev. Peter Owen Jones
humbleone Posted January 25, 2012 very cool, thank you for the links.  I found this 58 min documentary of Peter Owen Jones, aka indiana jones of the clergy . This episode shows his visit to China. He also visited India and Eygypt. would love to see all three episodes  http://rushleigh-pursuit-of-wisdom-chronicle.blogspot.com/2011/03/peter-owen-jones-extreme-pilgrim-and.html
Jetsun Posted January 25, 2012 I saw his episode on China, he went to a big government sponsored temple which might have been the Shaolin temple, but found most of what was going on was for show and for tourism and there was nothing really spiritual about it so he left and went to a smaller temple in the mountains. He seemed to approach everything with an open mind and went into it with enthusiasm, i'm not sure he found a genuine teacher in China though.

lifeforce Posted January 25, 2012 (edited) I love Peter Owen Jones. His documentaries have been shown here in the UK. A very pragmatic guy who, despite being an Anglican minister, is not afraid to empty his cup.  Extreme Pilgrim   I've posted this one before.
