Hey, just felt to comment on something that caught my attention.

'that stuff'you mention is only our fuller potential and a wider being that we may have been unaware of previously. I am sure some may disagree here.

Otherise enjoying to read the updates.

 

its a trickster.. i asked it "are you me" and it said "hahah who are you?" and in the sense that I am That i think it is an aspect of true self, higher self, or cosmic self. But thats a very expanded use of the word self, and i have to say, it really feels like something else. I guess its sort of both, depending on my own ability to expand my own definition of self

You will find that as you spend more time focusing on the sushumna, it gets bigger. It expands outwards. And, at each end, there is this huge void, which is very dark, except for the very faint twinkling of almost imperceptible stars in the distance. These stars are actually other people, or lives.

 

wow. Are they the lives of people close to one?

 

It is very interesting that you've described a lotus of light, which is exactly how the vedanta tradition refers to the lotus in the heart.

 

Also, I do have one question. When you say "i experienced 100% of myself as completely brilliant white light, like a person made out of light", was there a separate "I" witnessing the body of light or did you become the light (so that you could no longer see the light)? The distinction here is that if you were separate, then you might have been viewing your astral body, or, possibly a reflection of the purusha/atman/soul from the mirror like surface of the stilled mind?

 

the lotus was like 5 feet around and below me, and so i am not sure it relates directly with the heart lotus, but i appreciated the text you shared.

 

I was the light and sort of got lost a little bit in the light but at the same time i could see perfectly, but only when i looked at something. Like when i looked down at my leg it was clothed in robes of light and when i looked beneath me i saw a lotus but the rest was just a sort of wash of light when i wasn't focused on it. It thought it might have been my astral body too, or some subtle body. I don't really know how many of those people have, hindu says 4 egyptian says 10 etc.. I don't really know what i was, it seemed very subtle but i think it was more than my mind. Hard to say for sure.. i don't pretend to know

Sure hope I can experience Yang Chi Awakening someday. Sounds awesome! Oh well. I'll always have vicariously experienced Yang Chi Awakening through you. It's like reading Marco Polo's adventures and imagining I'm there too.

I wonder if your description of the heart lotus is similar to that picture of the bar magnet's field?

Your magnet realization reminds me of the 2nd to last painting of Alex Grey in the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors (COSM)

 

 

that was his rendition of the same sort of "void" state. If you've never seen COSM the movie, i highly suggest watching it, its a video interview with him and a guided tour of the exhibit. Most wonderful!!

 

the last painting in the series btw is just a plain black empty page with the 4 tibetan elements around the edges.. a beautiful rendition of emptiness

Yes, the Universal Mind Lattice resembles what I see except there are no internal concentric circles or internal spheres. I was going to say that it resembles the Spiritual Energy System but I can see no internal chakras nor any form that even outlines the body, as in this picture:

 

 

The other thing I will mention is that I can't see the whole orb of silver light because of my viewing angle. It is like "I" am positioned in the center, fixed there but I can rotate my view..

Did you know that 'neti neti' is not only an intellectual exercise for the mind, a kind of puzzle that top-down approaches befuddle the general populous with, but it is a meditation practice as well?

 

What you do is this: You sit in meditation and if you can see, think, hear, feel or sense anything, that's not it. Instead, turn your attention around and try to become whatever is perceiving. Go past the golden orb of light and beyond. Become that which is perceiving the act of perception.

 

So, "neti neti" is also a meditation practice which takes you to the beyond.
