Finding something on your own after asking someone

Recommended Posts

Do you know that experience? You are looking for something. Sometimes you look for a moment only, sometimes for a long time, but only once you ask someone else where it is, suddenly you find it.

When I encounter this, when someone is asking me, I tend to say "Glad I could help."

There might be a lot of insight to be gained. Just random thoughts and theories:

When someone ask you, it shows that they are putting trust in you. They respect your abilities. Maybe there is a profound reason why they ask you. Something inside of them might intuitively sense that you have the potential to help. Maybe even if you can, but don't want to and thus limit yourself. If you sincerely meet this with respect, if you establish a kind of subtle connection to the person who asks, then you don't need to do anything. The necessary communication will already have happened.

I really enjoy people who ask questions. It is a sign of intelligence, of curiosity, of a lively mind, of a seeker, of a personality in motion. Thus I meet sincere inquiries (as opposed to a challenging, competitive question) with great respect.

I'd enjoy reading your experiences with and thoughts about this phenomenon. It might be interesting to look at it from a psychological perspective of the person who asks, but right now I don't feel like doing psychoanalysis.

... but right now I don't feel like doing psychoanalysis.

Me neither.

But it is interesting how this concept of yours works and how our brain works when it is caused to make different connections.

Today at Target I needed to buy 4 items but couldn't find them. So I visualized the item - then starting walking. Each time I ran into an employee - and asked where the item was - and they showed me. It was awesome....I can manifest anything.
