Lets figure out who the best translator would be, I am SURE some people on here speak fluent mandarin, maybe they could give us a discounted group rate. I wouldn't expect them to do it for free but whatever they feel is fair. I would chip in $20 or so if everyone else did. As long as they are a long time respected member and not some fly by night scam guy from Australia.

I recently had dinner with a very nice Italian women here in Beijing who is fluent in Chinese and has the goal of translating Taoist texts into Italian. She may be interested I'll see. She's in Italy now will take a week or so.

 

If she is interested, I'll ask her to respond in this thread.

He is giving a commentary on The Secret of the Golden Flower. If this stuff is intended for public viewing, then I was going to say I could do English subtitles, but unfortunately the sound quality is awful. Somebody with better ears than I have would have to do it.

You're not the only one, the audio is REALLY bad and it is VERY hard to hear what is being said clearly, I feel sorry for anyone trying to translate those.
