Tangram Posted May 22, 2012 Each of us one each of us on a journey......."The journey of a thousand miles begins beneath one's feet." would be nice to know how people began their journeys
Chang Posted May 22, 2012 (edited) My ex wife saw an advert in a paper for a beginners tai chi course and thought it looked interesting. Â She never did the course but I did, thereby meeting my charismatic first teacher of the Taoist Arts. Â It all started there and my interest simply grew and grew. Basher Posted May 22, 2012 In my youth saw an article in "Look In" Magazine (sort of kids TV & cartoon style mag). Â Well known DJ Ed "Stewpot" Stewart had started to learn Kung Fu from an old Chinese chap called Chee Soo. Â I went up to London to take a look & got hooked. Â Found a local class / teacher in that style & went once or twice a week. Â A few years later I also started doing his "Lee" T'ai Chi Ch'uan. Â BIG GAP where no training took place due to various reasons... Â Re-started learning the Li Arts last September, under the "Old Mans" Senior Instructor. Â Tony Swanson of the T.A.O.
